Azzurra teaches a high energy class, imprinted on Release and Limon principles. It focuses on nuances of dynamics in movements, a clear understanding of initiations within the body and it plays with speed, shifting in space and going in and out of the floor. The class concentrates on the use of breath to investigate a freer use of momentum and emphasizing a sense of catching/release during movements.

Azzurra trained at LCDS. She was part of Henri Oguike Dance Company and in 2009 she moved to Phoenix Dance Theatre, whilst there she worked with choreographers, including Lost Dog, Douglas Thorpe, Aletta Collins, Richard Alston. As a freelancer Azzurra has worked in the UK, China and Belgium with choreographers like Akram Khan, Kim Brandstrup, James Cousins, ENO, ROH, Carlos Pons, Vincent Dance Theatre and Luca Silvestrini amongst others. Azzurra was nominated for Outstanding Female Performer (Contemporary) at the 2012 National Dance, she has her own company Sardoville and has been Rehearsal Director for  Jorge Crecis, DeNada Danza and Vincent Dance Theatre.
